Menter Mônbodorgan community centre
scroll for the storyBodorgan is a small village on the south-west coast of Anglesey, and the community centre is the place that holds it together — bingo nights, carpet bowls, Zumba, mother and toddler groups, jumble sales, the over-50s Easter bonnet competition. Volunteer-led, packed schedule, real impact.
Menter Môn commissioned this short film as part of a wider series spotlighting community organisations across the island. We worked with the centre's manageress and core volunteers across one full day of filming, capturing the everyday rhythm of the centre — meetings, the noticeboards covered in photos of past events, the village's painted Gorsaf Bodorgan station mural — and stepping out to a real community fun day with the marquee, inflatables and the Welsh flag flying.
The film was delivered bilingually with full Welsh and English subtitles, ready for Menter Môn's social channels and partner network.
