Menter Môncpd pwllheli

CPD Pwllheli is the football club at the heart of one of north-west Wales's most distinctive towns. New clubhouse, packed sponsor boards, a pitch the village walks past every day. In 2024 they were named FA Wales McDonald's Grassroots Community Club of the Year — recognition for what a grassroots club can be when it sees itself as more than a football team.

Menter Môn commissioned this short film as part of their wider series on community organisations across north-west Wales. We worked with the club chairman and committee members across one full day on site — interviews in the new clubhouse with the pitch as the backdrop, the award certificate framed on the wall, the Eisteddle Bernie Smith stand, the local sponsorship that keeps grassroots football alive in a town this size.

The film was delivered bilingually with full Welsh and English subtitles, ready for Menter Môn's social channels and partner network.
