Conwy is forty-five minutes from the studio and one of the most concentrated visual environments in North Wales. Inside the walls you have a UNESCO World Heritage castle, a working quayside, the smallest house in Britain, narrow medieval streets and a backdrop of mountains across the estuary. Few towns this small carry this many usable shoot locations within a five-minute walk.
The Conwy Valley extends the range. Llanrwst, Trefriw, Betws-y-Coed and the woodland into Eryri all open up quickly from the town. We use Conwy as a base for tourism and brand projects that need the castle on day one and a forest on day two — a combination almost no other valley in Wales offers in a single day's shooting.
